This email was sent out to all students and faculty on Wednesday:THIS MESSAGE APPLIES ONLY IF YOU ARE PARKED IN PARKING LOT 1:
Due to the weather/road conditions and the grade of parking lot 1; we are having numerous vehicles sliding out of their spaces. Unless you are parked against the curbing on the upper lot, please go and move your vehicle to the lower end of the lot. Thank you.
This email might have been necessary, and maybe even expected, if I lived in Southern California or Texas.
But I live in COLORADO. It snows here. Quite often in the wintertime. Sometimes even in May.
I've lived here all my life and I've never once seen cars sliding around on their own without a driver. Not once.
To even further the absurdity of this email, parking lot 1 is BRAND NEW; they just finished it a few months ago.
I'm ashamed to be attending a school that would hire contractors as retarded as the ones remodeling our school.
