I can't say no to anything
So, I've been a member of the Society of Women Engineers, SWE, since I enrolled in school. I figured it would look good on my resume, and get me a few scholarships or internships. I wasn't active in the group at all. Until this summer.I figured I needed to be more involved. In a fit of optimism I contacted the president and volunteered to be a more active participant.
Wow. So, I'm now in charge of the monthly newsletter AND a mentor to five incoming freshman.
What. The. Fuck?! I'm not going to have time to do that and take a full course load of 18 hours.
How do I get myself into these situations?
