succumb
63 hours, 56 minutes...Jackie and I decided to succumb to our old age last night; we went and played bingo. We rationalized that since we’re old (she’ll be 25 three days after me), we might as well act it.
We were the youngest people there – by at least 30 years. That was the plan, though. To feel young.
Apparently, it was fate, because I won $400. Actually, I had to split it with Jackie because that was the arrangement prior to walking in, so we both walked away $200 richer.
I think it spawned an obsession. I need to find a bingo bag.
I am so old.
